Light Apple Cake: Here's How to Prepare It
To prepare the delicious light apple cake, it is very important to ensure that the apples do not brown. To do this, it is necessary to squeeze the juice of one lemon, remembering to set aside the peel which we will need during the process, and immerse the apple slices that we will need to cut once we have removed the stem from the fruit. Then, using a whisk, we must beat the eggs with the sugar, creating a frothy and light mixture. To this, we must add the sifted flour, the lemon zest, and the skimmed milk, mixing everything with a wooden spoon. Finally, we need to incorporate the yeast into the batter and continue to blend all the ingredients, being careful not to deflate the mixture.Baking
Once ready, the batter for our light apple cake must be quickly poured into a greased and floured cake tin. After this, we can proceed by arranging the previously cut apple slices in a spiral, remembering to be very quick during this step. The prepared tin must be placed in the preheated oven at 180° for about 30 minutes, after which it will be turned off. The light apple cake should then be left to rest inside for another 5 minutes. Afterwards, we will need to remove the cake and turn it out, then dusting it with icing sugar.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]Related articles
