Recently, there has been much talk about the Lebootcamp diet, to the point that it has even been defined as the diet of the year. According to Valerie Orsoni, the creator of this dietary regime, the Lebootcamp stems from her personal experience that led her to experiment with as many as 40 different types of diets.

From here arose the need to formulate her own, with the help of fitness experts and nutritionists. The Lebootcamp diet is divided into 4 phases. The first, lasting two weeks, is called Detox. During this initial period, many foods must be avoided, such as meat, sugar, processed foods, alcohol, and yeast. Instead, some foods considered particularly detoxifying by Valerie Orsoni should be consumed. In particular, to feel light and purified, one should include avocado, artichokes, beetroot, buckwheat, and tofu in their meals. Upon waking, it is advisable to sip a cup of Sobacha, a buckwheat infusion considered particularly detoxifying.
The Lebootcamp diet is divided into 4 phases.
The second phase of the Lebootcamp diet is the attack phase. Its duration should be extended until one loses 75% of the excess body weight. In theory, no food should be eliminated; it is based on a low-calorie diet and the glycaemic index of different foods. Therefore, complex carbohydrates such as bread, pasta, or rice should be avoided, and sugar should be forgotten. In contrast, all whole carbohydrates as well as whole grain cereals, blue fish, fruits, vegetables, and particularly strawberries and avocado, which have a particularly low glycaemic index, are excellent. During this phase of the diet, it is particularly advisable to move and take a nice walk of at least 30 minutes every day.

After the attack phase, to lose the last excess pounds, the booster phase comes into play, lasting a couple of weeks and involving stricter dietary restrictions alongside an increase in physical activity. In addition to consuming detoxifying and low glycaemic index foods already experienced in previous phases, one should seize every opportunity to move and work the muscles: housework, squats, contracting the gluteal and abdominal muscles while brushing teeth, climbing stairs on foot, and any other daily activity that requires effort.
One can lose 75% of the excess body weight.
As the final phase, the Lebootcamp diet includes the balance phase, essentially for maintenance. During this period, one should seek the right balance and match the calories consumed with those expended. How? Firstly, by maintaining a particularly strict detox day each week, almost as if it were a form of intermittent fasting. Particularly important in this phase, at least according to the diet's creator, is achieving a balance between acid and alkaline. Good results are indeed achieved by preferring alkalising foods, such as citrus fruits, onions, plums, fruit juices, and pumpkin seeds, while limiting acidifying foods: honey, sugar, eggs, white and red meats, cod, and salmon.
